STB SCSI/Fibre Disktool
STB announces their latest
test/diagnostic tool, the SCSI disktool.
The disktool is an entry-level
diagnostic program used for testing/diagnosing/qualifying disk
devices. Derived from the industry-standard SCSI toolbox, the
SCSI disktool is based on solid, proven technology that has
years of dependable service behind it from it’s installed
base of thousands.
The SCSI disktool is a
“single drive at-a-time” tester. All devices connected to
all HBA’s will be displayed, and any drive connected to any
HBA can be selected for test.
The SCSI disktool has the
following tests:
- Sequential Read
- Sequential Write
- Sequential Write/Read
- Sequential Write/Verify
- Random Read
- Random Write
- Random Write/Read
- Random Write/Verify
- Sequential Scan for errors
- Random Scan for errors
- Quick QC
- Quick Drive Profiile

- Drive Self Test (DST)
- All tests can do large (1mb
or more) transfers
